    10 days notice. Where is Solis now? Who is the fat guy now? That's right fool. Welliver is the taller man by a ways and is 20 pounds under Solis these days....also rated much higher. Bring that Fat F on with proper notice! :bbb

    Welliver is an American Indian apparently which is interesting. Chauncy is supposed to fight Shannon Briggs I thought. Chauncy also got into a little argument with Arreola and I think Briggs and Arreola would kill Chauncy. Chauncy has like 5 or 6 losses already and not much power. Chauncy was TKO'd by Odlanier Solis too!

    Welliver has never been down in 331 HW rounds. He is 29-1-2 in the last 6 years since he was 22 years old. He revenged both draws and his loss was on 10 days notice, weighing 50 pounds more than he does today. He is a 60 fight pro, about to get win #50 over Calloway and he is just entering his prime. 28 is a baby in this division. Chisora is relatively the same age but has nowhere near the level of experience....and now nowhere near the level of dedication.

    Welliver is a Native American, is a New Zealand resident and NZ HW Champion, and he is a big draw HW in China. Toughman to the Title! A throwback fighter, even moreso than James Toney. Welliver has well over 100 fights since 16 years old when he started toughman. He has also been in about 100 high level HW camps since then too as a sparring partner. Most recently he prepared Povetkin for Chagaev.

    If Welliver ever gets a title shot, he and his trainer Joe Hipp make more Native American history. Chauncy would be the 2nd to challenge for the HW title and Joe was the 1st. Joe would be the first Native to fight for and then train a guy to fight for the HW title. If they won...epic movie time. Better than the Rocky Series!

    KINGPIN didnt offer to fight Chauncey??? Ummmm, I have the contract that was offered to both Chauncey and KINGPIN. KINGPIN signed it, and Chauncey refused. both fighters were offered decent undercard money. Once again, I repeat KINGPIN signed the contract Chauncey did not.

    Yes, Chauncey wanted to fight Monte Barrett, but the Davis-Barrett fight was already signed. So, it was either accept the fight with KINGPIN or not fight on the show. That is why KINGPIN was taken off the card (and ended up fighting Julius Long on 3 day notice).

    Chauncy gave a funny radio interview on ESB when Briggs was mentoring him, well sort of, I could not come up with an accurate word to describe their relationship on short notice.

    Evidently Briggs was hosting Chauncy in Miami when Briggs basically gets Chauncy into a street fight with a local idiot. Someone calls the police and Briggs takes of running and leaves Chauncy to fend for himself in a strange town with no help.

    Chauncy comes to his senses and stops working with Briggs while Briggs claims to this day that he bent over backwards for Chauncy and got screwed over for his troubles.
