    just because he has a right to work, doesnt make it "right" to beat the **** out of an old man who struggled to win a 6 round "majority" decision against a guy who had 1 win in his last 15 fights. (in his last win)

    I'm not going to comment on Cooper's ability to fight, as I don't know what sort of condition he's in at the moment. But your comment that just because a guy is sanctioned to fight there is nothing wrong with him fighting is ridiculous.

    Danny Williams for example is only 39 yet is hideously shot and in no position to fight. Sanctioning bodies are interested in money, not the welfare of a fighter, and there are some guys who no fighter with a conscience will go anywhere near. I can't comment on whether Cooper is one of these but not every fighter should be allowed to fight.
