So Gomez called? Okay...that means you're still in the running for Mitchell's next fight. No doubt, you are are aware that there are many guys like Ibragimov (dudes no longer or not yet ranked worldwide top-15, but who legitimately occupy the next rung below world-ranked) who would love to fight you, because you hold so many regional belts and a couple of world rankings. If these guys could beat you, they are back in the ballgame. That's what makes you popular with "B" level fighters...LOL. Would you be willing to say how much you would expect for a purse for such a fight? $20K? Or more? We're talking off-TV, of course.
Just got off the phone with Eric Gomez. Offer is in and coming on email so we can look it over. June 30 on Showtime. I was expecting HBO, but it is what it is. Gotta look over the offer when we get it and if it's as good as what he says, we're on. Money was smaller than HBO, but not by much. My team has a good relationship with them so I feel the money will move up and it'll be me and Seth Mitchell June 30. No venue has been named but last I heard before his Witherspoon fight was Washington D.C. I am scheduled for Macau June 16, but that can be pushed back. We've been expecting this fight to come up so in shape to get in better shape. :yep
FFS, I could beat Raphael. The Panda isn't going to make any headway in his career with this type of ****.
These are exactly the type of fight Welliver should be taking or the next 5-6 years, there is no need for him to step up too fast.
More Mitchell Chicken Dancing in June! And then he will go down, and down again, and down again, and then down and out. You heard it here first folks. Seth will not be stopped like his past 2 opponents have with any type of ref mercy. Chauncy is going to have to floor him repeatedly and eventually he will have to stay down long enough to beat a count of about 15. Even though all who watch on June 30th will see clearly that he should not have been allowed to continue on his rubber chicken legs after the first time he gets dropped.
If what you say is true then take whatever money they offer you...if you want a legit opponent here is your chance...its not about money but about recognition
