Jenna you even asking me about nobody azz Chauncy was a set up he is a nobody and he will remain that way for the rest of his miserable lying life ends in the mountains in which he lives and came. I think Shannon draws much more fans than Chayncy. Boxing fans in Finland know who Shannon is I dont think you can say same from Welliver

 

Have to agree on this. I don't know who is telling the truth about what happened in the past and I really like OTR a lot, but it was definately not fair having Chauncy on there afterwards and therefore not let Shannon tell his side of that story. The show should be neutral on this matters between fighters and not give Chauncy an unfair edge.

i remember this they hijacked the arroela interview trying to embarass him then when he responded saying he'll knock him out (even though he clearly didn't know who he was) the next day the started posting articles trying to generate fake hype!! now looks like they're doing the same with Briggs!!

otr is a good show but i feel that they discredit themselves trying to generate hype and fake beef between established fighters and their co host... this will eventually put fighters off giving interviews....

1. Beat Chauncy Welliver (rank 9 WBO)
2. Get ranked by WBO
3. Fight Wladimir Klitschko
4. Become undisputed heavyweight champion
5. Make Vitali cry

I see no reason not to fight fat, feather-fisted guy (30% KO LOL), beating whom gives you a chance for another world title shot.

CCR was a garage band at 1 time too. Welliver started prize fighting at 16 years old in Toughman. Then he turned pro at 18. And now at 28, he is the #8 HW in the world, with more title belts than half of you people can count up to.

The Klitschko's were selected as youths and groomed by the Soviet system to succeed. People like Audley cherry pick the Olympics at 30+ years old. Solis was groomed from youth as well. These guys have had top notch training and top teams from day 1. Great for them, but it is not the only way.

Chauncy has always been Dumont Welliver's little brother, until recently. The guy beat so many great champions in the ams and was a hell of a talent. That is the brother Briggs was looking to sign. Dumont was born a stud fighter.

Chauncy has had to work, literally work his arse off, to get to where he is. This man's father was a boxing trainer, his brothers fight and run gyms, and he has always been around the game. But to be taken seriously and to be recognized for his talents, and to receive some assistance in his career, he has had to go the long route.

Chauncy has a damn good team now. Roland Jankelson is a great manager and Joe Hipp is a great trainer. The Chinese backers are doing a great job moving him up in competition and building his name for bigger fights there. And his PR team is not half bad either, even if we are still perhaps a garage band as far as promotion goes.

What do you expect or want from people who are not born with silver spoons in their mouths? I expect and want hard work, dedication, and a desire to make it as far as the person can make it. And Chauncy delivers all of that.

At only 28, Chauncy Welliver has gone thousands and thousands of miles to make himself into a HW contender. He was winning toughmans at 16 and 17 years old, he even got ripped off for winning 1 and then they used his age to not pay him the prize money. He fought club fights all over the USA, and the world. But he also was right there in Germany on the 1st and only offer to come to him. Now he has a stadium deal in China and their fans love him. Now he is top ranked and very close to the next fight opportunity to prove that he has worked himself all the way to the top and belongs there.

Chauncy Welliver Aint No Fortunate Son! Everything he has is acquired through blood, sweat and tears. All boxing fans should honor this man and his climb to greatness.
