    I seriously doubt Mitchell ducked Welliver.

    It was probably more about the money. Which is to say, the none that Welliver brought to the table.

    Well I don't to say it, but that's why Welliver was being fed can after can in recent years, and it's that he isn't very good. I guess their plan was to try and get highly ranked and cash out but they clearly overestimated his ability if he's losing wide to Williams, who to be fair isn't a bad fighter and probably should have a win over Holyfield.

    He's 20lbs lighter these days and Charr is ****, so maybe it would be more competitive now.

    Even though it isn't as productive as having them mind the gate for young up-and-comers, I kind of want to have a round-robin tournament between the likes of Friday Ahunanya, Zack Page, Mo Harris, and Sherman Williams.

    Let one of them emerge as KING of their ilk.

    I've always said Welliver is a joke and a fraud, but to lose to Williams :rofl

    Time to erase this joke from the ratings! Maybe the powers that be at ESB will finally wake up and see why he's irrelevant in the division, along with his fanboy MesserDipStick.

    Who here actually saw the fight? I missed it. I expected Welliver's boxing to be just good enough to edge Williams, so I"m surprised. I'd like to know the details.

    Regarding Charr-Williams, let's not overlook that many think Williams was robbed in that bout.

    HBO nixed the Mitchell-Welliver fight. Mitchell's team had already approved of it before sending the proposal to HBO for a final decision.
