Contrary to popular belief I think that Chaves has the style, power, chin and stamina to give Bradley his second defeat. I'm going out on a limb and say he knocks Bradley out. I might get a lot of flak from the record keepers but that's the way I'm calling it. Objections and counters welcome.
Yeah, I thought about that too but Chaves can fight dirty also. I think that Bradley is going to try and engage him and that will be his undoing. He stands a better chance at boxing but Chaves won't allow him that luxury.
I agree! Chaves gave Thurman all he could handle. He even buzzed him a couple of times.:bbb This is gonna be a good fight!
Has Bradley really been much of a headbutter lately? responding to the above posts there werent any significant collisions in either Pacquiao fight or against Marquez As far as this fight, I'll admit it, I'm a big fan of Bradleys but he is not great or overwhelming in any area. He is an athletic and well conditioned fighter who is tough and awkward in some ways and just has a winners mentality and finds a way to prevail. He isnt an overly hard puncher an overwhelmingly fast guy or the soundest in his fundamentals but when he sat on shots he rocked Manny, with his tricky head and body movement he made Manny and Juan hit air and he throws good in combination My knowledge of Chaves isnt much but I think the reality at welterweight is, is that anybody with power who can hit Bradley consistently has a great chance to win. Bradley has been rocked in fights and just doesnt have the power to win a shoot out with a true welter. Provodnikov was a massive puncher and lost a shootout but Provodnikov gassed badly and spent a large stretch refueling and hitting air. If Chaves can get the power on Bradley and do it every round I think he can win
Very well spoken and that's how I am looking at it. Bradley can be pulled into a brawl easily. He got into a shootout in his last three fights.
