Well i remember Pac being rocked by Marquez and Chavez hits a lot harder than Marquez. Also Chavez through much better combinations than Cotto so he would land frequently. He fought a disciplined fight with Oscar cause Oscar never hit him which in turn would have made Manny exchange. I think Pfp Chavez hits harder than Cotto but a welter version of Cotto hits harder than a 135 Chavez. However Pacs ability to take a punch has increased with weight.

I stated earlier that Pac would beat Chavez at Welter. But I like Chavez big at 135,at 140 Chavez still has the edge.

    Here's the deal,

Pac has already proven he has speed which is more than Chavez can match. It's a valid point that Meldrick Taylor was beating Chavez before the pressure caught up with him.

That being said, it should be noted that prime Chavez has one of the best chins in boxing... ever. The Rosario fight is a valid argument. That guy is one of the biggest punchers whom Chavez just calmly walked through.

I agree that Pac will outspeed Chavez. And he has the power to thwart any aggression Chavez plans to mount.

I pick Pac to beat Chavez on points.

JMM is a precise counterpuncher and he rocked Pac at 130 not 135, Chavez isn't. Also JMM rocking Pac is an overrated myth around here, many times both Pac's feet are off the floor because the guy jumps around everywhere, he gets caught and its a case of balance. He was never in any close danger of getting KD.

its tough to pick against the brilliant pacman but anyone who thinks this would be a walk in the park for him are mistakin. i watched a prime julio and the guy was amazing. i can picture a total war with either man emerging with a win by about two points.

Well playing the role of counterpuncher wasnt Chavez's style, but he was more accurate than anyone Pac has face. I just dont see pac being able to avoid Chavez's accurate combinations. I dont think he was ever seriously hurt against Marquez but he was stunned, and if Chavez landed those same shots he would have enough Power to hurt Manny. I dont think he knocks out Manny with any one shot or any thing but those shots would eventually wear on Manny and He would respect Chavezs power thats for sure.

How many rounds would it have taken Chavez to destroy that bum David Diaz?
    Less than five. :hey

And way more ridiculous one sided.

 Sorry man...when posts are just so horrendously misinformed, you can't do anything but just stand back and laugh. Duran took Hagler's best shots, in addition to taking Barkley and Leonard's best. All could hit harder than Pacquiao, and all fighters capable of stopping Chavez in their respective weight divisions. Duran didn't have the accuracy? Watch more of his peak performance, and his handspeed was superior to that of Chavez, the films tell the whole story.

Chavez can out-hussle Pacquiao...Duran certainly would.

I remember your stupid comment in past post. The one about who mexicans want to win, pac or cotto. You said, either way they lose. The next day you were dissing Cotto like a little ***** with the thread you started, saying "cotto ****ing sucks!"

    Ahaha! Tell me, who lost?
