Seriously, how does someone come to the conclusion that Pac would beat, let alone KO Chavez based on the MAB fight, the shot Morales loss and then two wins, beating a top 300 fighter in Hatton and Cotto, going life and death with JMM and a shot to hell DLH??????

Julio Cesar Chavez in his prime was LEAGUES above MAB, JMM, and EM, and can't even be compared to Hatton and Cotto who don't even crack the 100 ATG, and the shot ODLH Pac fought. Tell me it isn't so.

 

Styles make fights, but I still give the edge to Chavez. Pacquiao isn't disciplined enough to stay away from a firefight, and Chavez would win a firefight.

 

We already know youre shite at predicting fights so obviously your prediction in this fantasy matchup is meaningless. Actually I change that, it has meaning...the result is probably the opposite of what you say it is...in this case you pick Chavez...so...

 

i thought about this fight after Pac beat Cotto.

i think it would depend on how much boxing Pacquiao does and how much brawling he does.

if Pac boxes Chavez, then i think his speed would give him the points to win a decision. i dont see Chavez pulling a Meldrick Taylor here and knocking Manny out in this scenario.

if Pacquiao chooses to exchange then i see Chavez breaking Pac eventually with his body work. It would be an outstanding fight to watch.

 

Chapo Rosario, Macho Camacho, and Meldrick Taylor were better opponents than past prime Barrera and shot Morales.

Wether they rank higher or not on the ATG list, it matters not.

What matters is the condition of the opponent at the time of the fight.

Again, where is the glory in beating and old fighter, who is arguably shot, and weight drained.

 

Styles make fights, and the only style to **** with chavez was that of the defensive wizard Pernell Whitaker.

The hardest punchers, the fastest sluggers, the toughest fighters all fell to Chavez.

Whitaker was the only one to school Chavez and that was at WW, not LW.

 

Since when was Camacho in his prime when Chavez fought him?

Also Rosario was in his prime as much as Barrera was when he fought Pac,and Barrera is on another level than Rosario.

As for the Taylor fight if i use the logic you usually do when it comes to Pac i can say that Chavez got a gift from Richard Steele.
