Apperantly, just don't go preaching that at the Tambayan.

 

I think Pac should win this fight but the thing with Chavez is you could be beating him all night but the dude had an IRON chin and if Pac can't ko Chavez there's a strong chance that Chavez could ko Pac.

But this is a question of chins because I know for a fact Chavez would take serious punishment all night and Chavez had the will to make the fight his in the end.

 

Chavez wasn't known for taking a lot of punishment. Hell, even Taylor as much as he was landing didn't fully commit because he knew he was getting hammered.

Chavez was a master in-fighter, fought in the pocket and weaved extremely well.

 

no he isn't ask any boxing expert, what pac did this year was armstrong-esque. 130=135=140=147. and won his first title at 112 at 19.

 

Im rethinking at 135 Chavez, the man had grenades in both fists. The heavier it gets, the more it swings toward PAC, he carries speed and power up to 147.

 

This is probably the only time me and you will agree.

 

Hard to favor Chavez when you look at how both men campaigned at 147lbs. Manny looks better at 140-147 than he has virtually during any other time in his career. When people discuss this match-up at Lightweight, we have to take the one that fought the B- David Diaz. I believe there have been vast improvements in Manny's confident and ability since then.

 

All you need is to see the highlight of Chavez at 135 on youtube People are being layed out left and right. the ****er must have had great timing because the man was never fast.

 

Yeah :roll: Pac fought a shot weight drained DLH and Cotto at 147, while Chavez fought Pernell Whitaker, a prime, young, fast DLH.

I bet you that the Chavez who fought DLH in 1998 kills the DLH and Cotto fought.

But anyway, yes he has a contreversial win at 130, beat a sorry ass David Diaz who was champion off a vacant belt in a contreversial win over a shot Morales (DAMN! How much paper trail can a champion leave :rofl), beat a beaten Hatton, and beat a beaten Cotto who wasn't even allowed to fight at the WW limit.

Not shabby, but not GREAT.
