This is really a bad style matchup for Pacquiao.

If you look at Pacquiao's fights with Marquez, there were a few instances in them that Pacquiao was bothered by Marquez body connects......and remembering that Pacquiao has been KO'd by a body shot......Chavez may have been the best body puncher of all-time......

.......and I'll also note the fighters that Pacquiao has beaten from his climb from 130 lbs.......everyone of them.......David Diaz, DLH, Hatton, and Cotto......
None of those fighters had the pedegree of JC Chavez for one thing.....and for another, Chavez had a better straight right hand down the pike than either JMM or Morales, who are fighters that beat Pacquiao.

What it comes down too is that Chavez was more versatile in his strenghths than either JMM or Morales who both beat Pacquiao......
Chavez was a two handed fighter, with eons above the stamina than the fighters Pac has beaten recently.

Defensively more sound than any of the fighters that Pac has fought recently.......

Pac's kryptonite, Chavez shoots the straight right hand like no other........

All the ingredients to beat Pac are there in JC Chavez.....and Pac is simply not going to put a dent in that awesome chin of Chavez.....(and I'm talking about a prime Chavez that fought Taylor)

The technical skills its not even close, its JC Chavez by a landslide.

PED's or not, the body punching and straight rights bouncing off Pac's face would take their toll......and most of you here have no clue really as to the caliber and pedegree of JC Superstar......
For as ferocious a fighter that Chavez could be.......he was one of the more patient pressure fighters who ever laced them up.
He did'nt jump out of his stool from the opening round seeking to destroy......he was one to study the early rounds and get a feel for what could and could not be done.
Chavez' intelligence in the ring would make Pacquiao look like a complete novice in comparison.

I could go on and on really.......for example, I've found that Pac needs to build a head of steam to let out speed.......he has to hit you with a couple of shots first before the speed comes after......with Chavez, what people dont realize that with his head and waist movements, he was quite a difficult character to catch with more than one clean shot at a time.....

I could keep going, but I wont waist my time......this matchup is a mismatch in favor of Chavez at any weight from 140 on up both being prime!

I think Chavez would stop Pacquiao late on accumulation, but if it went the full distance, Chavez would win about 9 of the 12 rounds, with the only rounds Pac winning being very close one's.

An easy night for JC Superstar, and unlike the Marquez fights, Chavez is'nt going down to the canvas, to the contrary, I think its Pacquiao who would be the one tasting Canvas!:deal:yep:bbb:bbb:bbb

Chavez destroys Manny Pacquiao. Manny would be easy work for Chavez, Meldrick Taylor, Pernel Whitaker all of the old school great lightweights.

Manny had a tough fight with David Diaz at 135. Chavez would have Manny pissing blood for days. Chavez by 6th round knockthe****out.

    Hard to believe ain't it:lol:

Cotto is a great fighter and future hall of famer but he comes short when ATGs are discussed.

    Chavez is a solid ATG.

JC's bodywork would have softened Pac by the late rounds. Chavez by late KO.

Coming from a Pac fan. Pac is not really tested at 135 so it's hard to gauge, whilst it's Chavez' domain and where he built a fair share of his legacy - so resume wise ill go with Chavez for 135 if i have to choose, else ill go for "we would never know". 140-147 i'd go with Pac.
