I feel like he threw it. I hate to say it but you can see the difference between "can't" and "won't".

I didn't see any signs of draining. The only other two options is that he just flat out had no answer and took 0 risk, or the layoff affected him.

Those who bet Matthysse by stoppage at 11/8 got plenty of value.:D

Those who bet Canelo by decision also at 11/8 got plenty of value too.:(

Those who bet Chavez at 5/1 = :crybaby2:

Dishonourable shout-out to the always underwhelming David Lemieux although I will say he didn't look as fat as usual.

Chavez is an idiot. He concentrated so much on making weight and not risking the millions that he forgot to train to actually, um, you know, FIGHT? I really thought Cheeseburger Junior would have made it a war and used his chin and weight to wear Canelo out. Instead he was so drained and lackadaisical that he played the heavy bag for 12 rounds. Damn. Canelo beat him like a drum.

That's what most of us said when the fight was announced at cw, Chavez is not that good and this time it was even worse because he was drained. He admitted it himself after the fight.
168 is one of the weakest divisions and he's not even top 10 in it :hanged:

LOL I looked at the 69.99 price and was like NO WAY. I'm not staying up until 11:30pm half asleep to watch bum vs bigger bum for 70 bucks. Thank goodness I didn't buy into it.

My picks are sucking lately. I mean, I knew Canelo was a better boxer than Chavez but I thought Cheeseburger would have enough in the tank to make it count :(

This was an exhibition, not a fight. I got the feeling that if Canelo had wanted to he could have opened up and stopped him at about anytime after the 5th. The only one that got a beating was the fans who paid for that crap

First of all if golden boy and Chavez agree to fight at distance old you consider that throwing or fixing fight? Second if the agreement to fight ggg in september was made a week or two ago, what happens if Canelo was cut? Wouldn't that disrupt his commitment and isn't inside headbutting a major cause of cuts?
