chavez fight a draw? / possible 12th round ko conspiracy.

I just watched the fight again and i saw it much closer the second time around. I saw rounds that were obvious chavez rounds and some that could have gone either way. it seemed that chavez jr's punches were much harder. one could argue that martinez was running and his punches werent doing as much damage. if u give chavez jr a 10-7 round in round 12 and cherry pick a few of the earlier rounds for chavez we could have had a draw. a draw would have ensured a rematch.

either way i came into the fight thinkin martinez would dominate and was very impressed by the amazing comeback by chavez jr. however watch that 12th round ko again in slow motion, conspiracy theorists will say it was an act, that martinez was paid off to take the fall. if u watch it again u will see it appears that martinez slipped, none of those punches were landing when martinez went down!!

think about it, chavez sr meets up w martinez in a dark pub, he tells martinez, look we both know u can beat up my son, we will give u an extra mil if u take a dive in the 12th make my son look good and we will give u a rematch where both of u will be guaranteed huge money, think about it who else are u going to fight? mayweather? he wont fight u! pacquiao? he's washed up! canelo? he might beat u!! take the dive and u will be guaranteed 1 maybe 2 more big pay days and u can retire in argentina a rich man. remember its my sons name that is attracting the big $$$

 

watch the ko again in slow motion. think about it that fight was a total waste of money til the 12th round, wwe couldnt have written a better script, speilberg couldnt have directed a better scene!! lol that fight created a lot of hype and a rematch will guarantee huge $$$$ if the 12th round would have ended peacefully there would be no rematch and no hype.

 

watch the fight again off the top of my head i gave chavez the 2nd round and plenty of others that could have gone either way had there been a few judges that dont like runners like whitaker.

 

it was a lopsided victory for martinez, had he not gone down in the 12th it would not have been a good fight. if not for the 12th round drama no one would be willing to fight martinez and no one would care for a rematch. that 12th round was the best thing that ever could have happened for boxing conspiracy or not. like i said before the wwe couldnt have written a better plot line!
