absolutely ******ed. Chavez a G for blazing the kush in my books, i didn't like him much until this. weed is good for a lot of things, most people who don't smoke could use it.

actually that's not the case. My mother was a iberia airlines flight attendant for many years and it's actually insanely common for pilots to fly drunk, especially when they have a co-pilot with them.
nobody ever got their license revoked or even a slap on the wrist.

I agree weed should be legal but it isnt in which whoever defend chavez for his actions is a dumb a$$. Chavez got to be a dumba$$ for thinking he wont get caught. And yup he should be suspended cause u ppl forgot this the 2nd or 3rd time he fail the drug test in vegas for goodness sake. <<<<< Come on if that doesnt deserve a suspension then boxing is easily a joke.

Chavez is a G for getting high during the training camp to the biggest fight of his life and then losing the fight?

    For reals? lol...

Some people have some twilightzone opinions on what being a G is.

Being G is lighting a cig in ring after you just knocked a champion out, being a G is putting a war hat on, then going to war n knocking your opponent out, being a G is turning southpaw on an ATG in the last round, get rocked, keep in the stance in spite of it and stay on your feet to win the fight.

Getting high during training camp, then losing?

    Not G.

When I'm stoned, I don't wanna fight anything. It is not a performance enhancer in that sense, but pot will lessen pain. Here in Ontario, it's decriminalized anyway, so if you get caught with weed, it's like jay walking. A little fine. Hopefully soon, the rest of the world catches up to 2012 and gets outta the 50's and just legalizes it. If you can smoke cigarettes before a fight and drink alcohol, you should be able to smoke dope.

How can you compare a pilot getting drunk and risking the lives of the passengers on the plane, the flight attendants, maybe people on the ground, millions of dollars for the plane and everything involved in that to an individual smoking weed? Maybe you can compare him smoking weed before a big fight to a guy getting stoned before he gets married. I know I would have to.

    Good points Ice. :yep

Weed is likely the least "evil" out there, alcohol included, but when you're getting paid in the millions to atleast be serious for a couple months and you still can't put it down knowing you'll be getting tested..... Ffs

    calm down

i'm mostly being an ******* to troll the ****boys who get mad whenever anyone says someones a g.

i don't care about chavez at all it's entertaining me that he chiefs the kush though. makes my opinion of him go up slightly.

this dude is a natural, to drink and party heavy enough to get DUI's a week before his biggest step up to legit MW contender level vs Rubio and to test positive for weed vs Martinez just shows he doesn't train like he should and yet still he beat the **** out of rubio and took martinez the distance while giving him a last round scare. if he trained like beast he could be scary, he's obviously a natural fighter to be able to be as successful as he is without training like he should

He should apologize for disrespecting his fans and the sport. If you gonna smoke weed that's your business but if you're doing it while training for the biggest fight in your life then your just a dumbass. If your hearts not into boxing then just hang em up and enjoy your money and get high everyday

All pilots drink like fish, it's terrifying if you're in the business and know whats up. Every pilot i've met was a full blown alcoholic.

I remember the last time I flew we had a harsh landing for no reason in perfect weather, and when I walked by the cockpit it reeked of alcohol

yeh, it's because in reality it's a pretty boring and lonely profession.
