Let's cut to the chase. Chavez don't give a ****. Mother ****er has talent though. This time he'll show up and beat the hell outta Vera. An out of shape, gettin new ***** everyday, smokin kill, and all that other bull****, showed up and IMO boxed the hell outta Vera for the most part, but was just outta shape as hell. An in shape Chavez is a hard fight for anyone at 168. Give him a few more fights and he'll be ready for Ward. You know Ward isn't about to fight Stevenson and get the **** beaten outta him til he retires. But Chavez...that's a good fight IF Chavez can be dedicated.
Chavez is a spoiled brat and was given a gift against Vera. Y'know, a fighter is a joke when he is only in his mid-20s and everyone says good things about him but with the caveat, "If he's dedicated . . ."
Ward is probably not thrilled at the idea of "waiting a couple more fights" before a Chavez payday. Golovkin could end up tapping that @ss first if K2/TR are comparing the Lee stoppages as a marketing tool. I agree Jr beats Vera clearly this time around. I'm not rooting for him, but I think he does.
chavez was caught using diuretics, drunk driving before the rubio fight, positive for THC against sergio, unmotivated and couldn't make weight against vera 1, reports long ago are true.....he's lazy. i ain't holding much hope he's different this time.
"in shape" "this time" "if he can be dedicated" "out of shape" "if" blah blah fuc.king blah theres no excuses, he got his ass kicked last time ward will beat him from pillar to post no matter what "shape" he comes in
Vera will have to fight Chavez, the referee, judges, etc., so it will be an up hill battle. Chavez knows all he has to do is be standing at the end of the fight.
I also think Chavez handles Vera this time and probably stops him like he should have done the first time they met.
no one cares if he beats the **** out of vera... point is vera won the first one and was robbed... so vera deserves the rematch... if he can replicate his performance.. then good.. if not then it's ok too
