    Can you please explain his list of accomplishments and performanceS
    which equate him to sergio's level?

    its the same as when Bradley beat up on casamayor , he looked like a tank , then looked out of his depth vs Pacman

    the same will happen to jr , it will be a great fight but he will be out of his depth with a faster more mobile more experienced technician .

    your thoughts

    Nah. He is being rated accordingly. He has looked a lot better of recent to start to sway of a possibly of an upset. Any blind man can see that. Also he might be drugged up too.

    Overrated how? Its not like anyone has him on a P4P list or is praising him as good as his father was. He is a tough kid who has a considerable size and age advantage over Martinez. Makes for an interesting fight.

    I do believe that he was helped along the way to getting his belt but to say he is overrated is a bit too much.

    For goodness sake, he beat some very legit contenders from Rubio, Lee etc...

    haven't you seen his fans claiming it will be an easy fight for chavez garanteed KO

    when the hell has martinez been an easy fight for anyone ?

    well, he has more haters than fans on here

    some think he is a punch bag cheater who uses his great chin and unfair weight advantage to win and nothing else


    whereas a small minority think he will stop sergio in 7 rounds. :lol:


    i personally have him in the middle somewhere, i think sergio Ud's him unless he gets robbed.

    Martinez and Chavez is going to be a fantastic fight. Anyone who thinks this fight is going to be easy for either man is really missing something.
    While I believe Martinez to be the more skilled of the two, Chavez is the more durable and fresher of the two. So each man brings a considerable advantage and thats what makes this fight interesting and good for the fans.

    This fight will show you who the bandwagoners for both fighters are.
    (Sergio will prove to have the biggest bunch of flake fans)

    Win/lose Chavez Jr. Has already overachieved Vs. the haters.
    That will make his win over Sergio that much better.

    It's not overrating Chavez, Just using boxing %.
    Martinez is the old man fighting a young lion with a chip.
