im not too sure about that. i think its going to be very hard for martinez to win a decision. chavez is sulimans boy and top rank is shady.

this is a fight where martinez has no pull whatsoever and will probably have to convincingly win(kd's) to get a decision.

i would not bet against arum and suliman.

Pavlik also had a jab, more punching power and alot better defense then chavez.

do not compare the chavez of zbik to the chavez of today.

    watch the lee fight.

that is an entirely different fighter.

i won money on chavez/zbik and lost with chavez/lee.

he does not have power in both hands and could not go to the body.

chavez is hands down one of the best body punchers in the game. the way he transitioned against lee from body to head, left to right, was polished.

You compared the pavlik fight which was way before chavez fought zbik, don't contradict yourself.

Is still don't take away from the fact he has no defense.

I see alot of people were impressed with Chavez's performance against Lee...maybe you guys think more of Andy Lee than you should.

Martinez would have ko'd Andy Lee also

Exacly,i always seen lee as a clumsy boxer/puncher and a ko waiting to happy, martinez would have ko'ed him worse then paul williams.

his defense is his offense. hes going to turn this into a war and hope that age catches up with sergio.

anyone trying to draw some connotation between the pw and kp fights is grossly underestimating chavez, arum and roach.

chavez sr./meldrick taylor comes to mind.

i have no idea what youre talking about here.

there is a chance that sergio is still the same fighter that fought a drunk kp but there is absolutely no chance that chavez is the same fighter that fought zbik.

Roach hasn't been looking too good lately if you been following boxing,i think chavez and alot of people are underestimating martinez punching power and stamina, the guy can stop you late, early or mid-rounds.People are overrating chavez punching power, besides lee and the gatekeeper manfredo, who has he stopped?

If Margarito got attention and support to claims(Steve Kim) that he's the "Hagler of this generation", then there's no surprise a cheating loser son of a cheating scumbag is getting attention.
