Chavez J.r doesn't want to weigh their gloves before fight?

    - So when Jr puts on the 8 oz gloves, don't you think he just MIGHT notice that they aren't 10 oz? If you've ever boxed, you know that the difference is quite noticeable, in both feel and appearance.

    There is NO way Jr wouldn't know about this, so please .....

    Here's what Lee & Manny should do:

    Have a special pair of 6 oz gloves made, ready to go.

    If Chavez refuses to weigh his gloves right down to the last minute, then have Lee where the 6's. -since no one can then ask to weigh HIS gloves, either.

    Then beat Jr. into a pulpy, humiliating retirement.

    He didn't refuse anything ******ed ****. None of the boxers on the entire card were tested, and that's including Rubio.

    Stop spreading your wrong ignorant information.

    Texas boxing is a joke. They sanction Margarito when California still had him under suspension. They don't test Chavez with the post fight drug test even though he exploded up in weight after the weigh-in and has a History of taking diruetics to make weight and now they refuse to weigh the gloves to determine their actual size? And this is after they have that clown Dick Cole Jr. refereeing every fight in the state worth a **** because he's the commissioners son. The state is a joke.

    Roach is such a dirty cukaroach.....no doubt in my mind that he would have no issue training a fighter using ped's and not saying ****....

    There was an article a while back complaining about how terribly inconsistent new gloves delivered to the commission were. Weight wasn't mentioned but padding was.

    Chavez is gonna need more than loaded gloves to beat Andy Lee.

    Luckily for him, in TX Andy will have to KO Chavez to get a draw.
