well i have gone with jiminez by sd. chavez is much much more experienced and much classier but he is 35 (old fora fighter fighting in a low weight) and he has had injuries and has been out for over a year now. so if you ask me chavez will do well to be more than 80 percent of his old self the question is does that beat jiminez. in my eyes this is a great chance for jiminez to prove something and start a good carreer if he wins he can go on to better things plus will have a very good name on his record. i wont be suprised to see chavez win but i can also see a real hard fought gutsy performance from the younger man to just snatch it. i feel this fight is all on how jiminez copes, and if he digs deep and has a carreer best performance then i can see him winning but its definitely a 50 50 fight because of chavez age, slight rust and injuries. but obviously a peak chavez would have definitely been huge favourite
Interesting. I've never seen Jimenez, so I'm interested to see what he brings to the table. And you've just got to wonder how Chavez holds up given the inactivity and injuries.
YEAH I MEAN HE IS NOT GETTING ANY YOUNGER AND THREE ROUNDS IN THE LAST YEAR AND A HALF OR WHATEVER IT IS, IS NO GOOD FOR A 35 YEAR OLD WHO HAS HAD INJURIES. HOWEVER JIMINEZ WILL NEED TO WORK HRD AND BE AT HIS BEST IF HE IS I FEEL HIS YOUTH WILL WIN THIS WON MAYBE
If you don't live in a Latino market, you might not have it. If you do, it should be part of your basic cable programming. I just checked if it's streaming, and couldn't find it on TVU. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Main event should start soon. Jhonny Gonzalez won by KO. Dropped Ruiz first with a double left hook, then put him down twice more to get the stoppage.
