Chavez actually turned down a multi-year slave contract with Arum. When he gets out of TR and signs with GBP he will earn 2x the chump change Bi-Polar Bob offered him.

 

No way would he get 12-17 million for the GGG fight. It's a big fight but not that big.

 

Even if he were to actually receive a guarantee total of $12-million to $17-million dollars for the fight being tied down, via contract extension to Bob Arum, how much of that guaranteed money would Chavez Jr., actually get. Much less the PPV upside?

 

If he were getting 12 million for a single fight, that's more than he'd get for any other fight vs any other fighter from 160-200.

Maybe he moves up to LHW, KOs Stevenson, then promptly moves up to CW and squeeks out a decision over Huck, and he could try fighting Wladimir.....he might get 12 million for those 3 fights. :think
