even Chavez knows when he goes upto 168 he wont be near the top contenders so just get 160s to fight at a weight he can be bothered making.

Murrey shouldn`t do it at that weight unless they are offering lifechanging money,he will have to knock him out to get a draw also in Mexico

Good on Murray if he took it. I love his attitude, going to fight anywhere- there's no reason to fear Chavez Jr ability wise as he's the far better technician. Obviously, it would be very hard to get a decision there but purting on a few more pounds may improve his power and from there, he's in a strong position. Chavez is so open defensively that he will get opportunities.

I'd like to see him in with the other domestic fighters but with Macklin getting Golovkin and Barker vs Geale hopefully too, it's a good fight in the meantime.

Chavez can pump all the gear into himself he wants he's shite!!!!

Murray will pop his head back all night with solid straight shots. Murray wins this hands down for me.

Not sure what to think if this fight goes ahead really respect Murray and his attitude. Not sure if he wins this though contentious or not. I have a suspicion that it might be a really exciting fight however Murray fighting fire with fire.

The extra five pounds might end up benefitting murray aswell to be fair, he's always seemed a big middleweight

Murray can't fight going backwards, Chavez Jr is a very good pressure fighter, I think this is the wrong style for Murray. Sturm is another fighter who fights on the front foot, but he hasn't got Jr's power, strength or youth.

Also, Martinez seemed to have better stamina than Murray, we know Jr has as good as, if not better stamina than Martinez. I think Jr late TKO.

I think of all the UK fighters, Murray is the best equipped for this job. Going to be punchup and good luck Martin!

If this wasnt in Mexico I'd favour Murray, as it is you have to back Chavez, hope Murray heads over somewhere like Big Bear and gets some quality altitude training in prior to the fight

I think the experience of being too cautious in the first 4 rounds against Martinez and realising how close he was to getting a decision even in Argentina will stand him in good stead.
