I just want to get this situation sorted out. Now Chavez Jr. is getting a lot of hate right now and most rightfully so. He should be fighting Martinez, but he isn't. Martinez is constantly calling him out, and when Chavez Jr. is interviewed, he says he is willing to fight him, but always finishes with I will fight anyone Bob Arum tells me to fight. Pac is in the same situation. He should be fighting Mayweather, but he is not. Mayweather is constantly calling him out, and when Pac is interviewed, he says that he is willing to fight Floyd, but like Chavez Jr. he consistently goes back to saying my bromoter Bob Arum decides. Now my question is how much fault do both these fighters deserve to be credited with? Both have been called scared, and pussies for not fighting the fights everyone wants to see, but I honestly don't think either of them are scared. IMO Arum is the one to blame for both fights not being made. The WBC has some fault in the Chavez Jr vs Martinez fight as well, but if Arum wanted that fight the WBC wouldn't be a factor.
Mayweather wants pac because he saw how he looked vs mosley and marquez, before that he had tons of excuses and was on vacation for a long period, always coming out right after a pacfight was announced talking trash about him then being quiet for months when he won. But this will turn into a whole *******/***** debate again for who is to blame. Doesnt really matter anymore for me, chavez jr is given a bull**** title and status as an upcoming fighter to protect him. Pac is being milked by bob arum at the end of his career and he doenst want to risk it vs floyd, floyd only takes fight he knows he can win since castillo with maybe the exception of de la hoya for all the money. So we have a rich moneyhungry promoter, a puppet, a calculating guy that is affraid to take risks, an overprotected mexican hypejob and a corrupt sanctioning body. Long live boxing
That's exactly what I don't want this thread to turn into. You took a step into turnining into that type of thread though. My point is that neither Pac nor Chavez Jr. deserve to be called pussies or anything else, because they are both Arum puppets.
sorry, but they allow themselves to be like that. They can speak up and demand the fights boxing wants rather than let arum have his way and ruin the sport just so that he can maintain topranks marketshare and make more money.

For Chavez jr he knows he's not ready as does all of boxing for that matter to even compete with Martinez, so i expect him to duck Sergio but there no excuse for the Floyd vs Manny fight not to happen its the fight everyone one's to happen except the fighters
And I agree with that. They can speak up, but they aren't going to. They might be at fault for not speaking up, but Arum is more at fault for the fights not being made.
If the fighters wanted the fight bad enough it would happen, Both of them hold enough star power to leverage their promoter into making a fight happen if they wanted to.....Chavez Jr, knows he will get his ass spanked against Martinez even if he comes in 25 pounds heavier than Martinez on fight night. If Pac Loses against Money, the National Hero fades, the Philippines Crime rate goes down to Zero when Manny fights. Manny cannot lose for alot of reasons.
