That would mean he wouldn't be able to take the diuretics he needs to make middleweight :think

Presumably the WBC would find a way to change the rules, perhaps a drug test two weeks after the bout?

JR will win via disgraceful decision. It will be Sr. Vs SweetPea all over again. Sergio would need to decapitate JR in order to get the "W" and the one thing Chavez JR does have is a good beard.

Jr vs canelo would make more money. If you're going to sacrifice JR might as well pick the better draw (canelo)

The only thing I know is that Jr has never backed down from a fight, I have never heard of him ducking any fighter. He has the heart and chin of his father but he lacks that wicked body attack. His skills, while needing improvement are balanced enough to carry him through a fight with Sergio. He dont punch as hard as I would like but he can get his man out. Its a good fight for him and Sergio. If Sergio can pull it off then he is on his way to the big bucks that he craves. Then if he can get Kirkland at 160 ( I think it would be foolish to challenge him at 154 ) We got a mega fight on our hands. He needs to leave Ward alone cause thats a serious beatdown for his ass. All he has to do is get past Jr, which wont be no picnic if it happens at all.

I'm not even sure Kirkland is getting past Molina, let alone the middleweight champion of the world.

And Sergio will still school him and stop him, Chavez is just to easy to hit! But this fight aint happening, protected "champion" will be once again rewarded with some easy challenger.

Kirkland's glass chin would shatter from a probing jab of sergios.

While Jr pretends to challenge Martinez, Papa Chavez, Uncle Bob and Coach Freddie are busy lining up Martin Murray's replacement Vanes Martirosyan.
