    Martinez don't load up on power shots.Movement , speed ,angles.All that's needed.

I think Chavez will be most dangerous in the middle rounds, where Julio often comes on strong and Martinez has frequently taken rounds off. Sergio has proven he can KO guys late, as he did vs Barker and Macklin, but you're right, Chavez's pressure may wear him down late.

I have a strong feeling Sergio stops him in the 10th. Skills and experience will tear Chavez apart.

Martinez gets knocked out cold and left lifeless like when Margarito did him in late in the fight.

Yes Martinez will box well for 6 rounds, but in those 6 rounds JR will have small spurts of success with body shots and hard hooks. JR ain't winning an outside game early on, but he will show a treat of things to come, because Martinez cannot run for 12 rounds fighting off a beast that will work his body take his biggest shots and keep coming strong, that is mentally draining and the body work and running on his toes will be physically draining, and he will give out late and wanting to trade when he gets tired, once you See Martinez standing his ground and trading you know the end is near.

This fight will not be easy for anyone, JR has to dig deep come in tremendous shape, defensively at his A game with good waist movement and a high guard when he is coming like he did with lee, punish and trap Martinez in the corners with hard hooks to the body early on, knowing full well that Martinez is coming to play an outside game and will try his hardest to avoid any inside fighting so he must be careful from bombs when he is coming in, Martinez must also come physically at his best being an old man his stamina is not something he can lack in, he must be able to run for 12 rounds box very well and limit the inside fighting by catching JR when he is rushing in, that is the time to get JR's respect even though JR may laugh it off enough of those bombs while coming in will either make him mad to come in harder or make him scared and back off, its a good gamble.... Martinez stamina will be the most important factor and his ability to take the punishment JR will unleash on his body.

SHOULD be a great fight, super fight IMO.

barker and macklin do not have the chin and power of jr.

chavez looked like a bigger version of his dad against lee.

    he looked incredible.

Yes he does. That is pretty much all he does. He doesn't box and work his way in, he is a power counter puncher.

If Chavez Jr gets on the inside and Sergio doesn't have room to plant and throw hard shots it will be a long hard night for him.

Agreed but I´m not so sure Sergio can get the stoppage and the way Top Rank promoted boxing is these days, Sergio can win every round, score a knock down or two and still lose on the cards.

He was getting outboxed for the majority of the fight. He was made look clueless for many parts in the first four rounds. He looked incredibly strong, he didn´t look incredible.
