All that considered, just imagine De La Hoya's life in his late teens and 20s. Nobody has brought that level of mainstream attention and especially females as he did to boxing. I remember the ladies throwing panties at him at the weigh ins. He was like Ricky Martin of boxing, and even stole Ricky's girl! LOL True story. I knew he used to blow millions at the casino's after fights, he'd make some but lost more than he made as usual. That guy had the life, but like all of these people, careful what you wish for.
