yeah but chavez has NEVER faced a fighter like cotto. cotto is going to hurt him. chavez needed some experience before takin on someone with the skill level of cotto

Right! That's why I think this fight isn't going to be a complete blow out. I still lean towards Cotto based on experince and his opposition level but I really think Jr has the goods. Especially with Freddie....I've seen a lot of improvements in a very short time so I think Jr is gonna make his daddy proud.

height just makes it easier for cotto to break juniors ribs

I have little interest in watching Cotto dismantle Jr.

I 'd much rather see Miguel in with a top ww or jmw.

i am not sayin junior is a decent fighter. he jsut doesnt have the experience yet. we never know what might happen but i duno i see cotto being far superior.

well cotto is gonna have to get inside, and i dont know if you've seen jr or not, but he loves fighting on the inside, and is pretty damn good at it too

Yeah but Jr is not as tough as Margo and is not as relentless as well in eating Cotto's punches to land his own, I see this as a easy win for Cotto and usually I'm never this confident in a Cotto fight.

Jr can fight a pretty tactical fight with his advantage in height and reach. Now he isn't accusomted to "Fighting Tall" for the most part and likes to brawl but I think we're gonna see a more complete and well rounded JR if he faced Miguel. The height and reach will be a problem for Cotto but I don't think it will be enough to see him losing to Jr.

If Chavez does that with Cotto, he'll get tko or ko. Chavez Jr might fight well on the inside but he doesn't do it better then Cotto who is a better body puncher.
