I agree Freddy. I think this Chavez will show us that the blood line is definitly in him to be a world champ. He'll never be his daddy but he has got skills and talent. The mental aspect of Jr has always worried me but with Rocah I think he may have a new confidence that will allow for him to reach his full potenial as a prize fighter. I hope so...I've always like Chavez Jr. He just seemed to lack the mental fortitude that great champions like his father had in abundance.

 

I trust your opinion to be totally unbiased in this regard.

He might beat Duddy, but Duddy can take a beatin and keep coming.

But without a punch, how can you be sure Chavez can keep Duddy off of him?

Because I'm not sure Chavez can take a beating, at least not like Duddy.

 

He's gonna forget everything he learned like when ricky hatton faced pac.
That pressure will be too much for the kid..he's going to have to be real technically sharp and move.
Roach wants him to stop and plant himself for effective shots..to stop duddy and actually make him feel something. Duddy would surely like him to not move around so much..

I noticed chavez jr hitting a heavy bag with a bat...they have been doing this much with him to give him more of a blast with his shots... thank god he's not in a homerun derby.. your born with tough ..his dad was ..he ain't. And his adversaries were never big tough guys.. except vanda.

They are also working on..if duddy throws a right hook...chav will duck and counter with double hooks..seemed like that was a roach plan but it seemed like chav didn't quite do it so crisp in the vids..maybe by now he got it. John got those vids.

John seemed to just have that lounder noise when punching at that bag and sparring etc.
Seemed slower than the chav vids..but with much more severity and contention
