The only way I see Chavez winning is with Ariza's power shakes.

How about straight jabbing and actual hard work giving Jr a stamina boost?

If everyone Ariza ever worked with actually turned into monsters with what you're claiming, Vanes should've wiped the floor with his last opponent.

It's done wonders with the conditioning for manny and Khan, so it should work for Chavez. Ariza is quickly becoming one of the most sought after conditioning coaches in boxing as well as other sports. But Ariza can't help with SKILLS! That is where Roach comes in. They absolutely make a great team to say the least.

Excellent Post Kirk....you don't have to like the kid....you don't even have to believe in him. But to out right start off comparing him to his father is more than unfair. Those shoes are BIG. And that kind of fighter comes around every 25 yrs or so. Jr seems to have been getting by working half ass...he definitley has skills and talent but he's never had a PROFESSIONAL camp like he's in with Roach. I just find it funny that people are already claiming he's on the "A SIDE" b/c he actually looks like he's been through a tough training camp.

    Good post. :thumbsup

On another note, every time I read this thread title I can't help but think of that dumb ass screaming "Bye, bye Ike!" during Wright-Quartey.

I hope Duddy knocks Jr. into oblivion. Jr. is a disgrace to boxing, and not the kid himself, for he seems to be a likable person, but what the media and his father want to make of him.

He is a very slow and predictable fighter, with mediocre stamina, and an untested chin. He should be studying to be a lawyer, architect, or something like that.

and this is the bottom line here.. he gets chances and exposure just because of his name not his talent and other real deserving boxers dont get those chances because their last names are not chavez.. this is just one of the many things that are wrong with boxing.. over hyped kids that have no ****ing business being on the ring

    :hat
