According to his Instagram, Chavez Jr hasn't taken a break in training since his fight against Fonfara. I truly believe he is dedicated now. I expected him to take a break and balloon up in weight.

Unless all those training pics/videos are old

Well, he has to be dedicated to work with Garcia. Garcia is no-nonsense. He posted that video where he "kicked out" Perez because he was too lazy and didn't show up at all.

Still, the only way Chavez Jr. will find success is if he moves back down to 160 lbs. (not going to happen). I think he might find some success at 168 lbs. because it's not at all a stacked division. Degale is probably the best in the division at the moment (Froch has one foot out the door and I favor Degale over him), but he's still pretty damn flawed. He has a chance at 168 lbs., but his best division would've been middleweight.

Don't be dumb... ANY professional boxer especially a former champ has to put in work for many years.

    I'm sure you're a pro quality athlete...

Not all ways but most of the time when a prize fighter keeps changing trainers, as look cheeseburger Jr has had some elite guys, it's not the trainer but the fighter who is flawed to the point of no return.

JR quit training with Freddy, quit in his last fight ( but still said he won:patsch) and has always been weak in the training cycle:deal

A real pro, dedicated/motivated, will stay in decent shape year round:hey

I understand why Jr gets hate but dude took a massive jump up in competition. He did not need to & should not have fought fonfora. I don't know how hard he trained but I gotta give him big props for fighting fonfora. He looked like **** but he fought hard & tried to win fonfora was just to big & his game plan was too on point. I actually think chavez can be pretty good at 168 if he stops BSING around. Garcia don't take no **** so it's a good situation for Jr.

Well, sort of...generally speaking they need to fix themselves -- but it's easier to fix yourself if your surrounded by the right people.

The right people in this case being those that won't stand for his half assing through camp, or being late or lazy or whatever else jr. cooks up.

Garcia's fighters tend to eat shots. How is that going to help Chavez and his inadequacies?

If Roach couldn't get through to him, it's a long shot for Garcia.
    Maybe language was the problem?

Perhaps so, but Chavez Jr. stalled his career and respectability by staying at middleweight so long and always inflating so much before a fight. As a character it seems his heart isn't entirely in it. No hate intended, just an unfortunate reality.
