IF HBO buys this fight they lose all credibility. Let the mexicans worship him like they worshipped that other "great" mexican fighter Julio Caear Chaves Sr. Putting him on american tv is embarrassing. Why not bring back Hearns' son, he's coming off a ko. That's a legit opponent

 

My favorite part of this is how he makes it sound like the mean WBC should be nice to him for a change and let him make some more voluntary defenses. Poor thing has had the deck stacked against him for far too long.

 

Sergio should pull a FaceOff (Travolta/Nick Cage anyone?) and replace Murray in the ring.

 

It was HBO who pulled the ploy to refuse Zbik as an opponent for Martinez (forcing him to drop the WBC belt) and immediately accept Zbik v Chavez Jr. HBO are just an extension of Arum's empire and Chavez Jr is the most babied boxer of them all.

JCC jr is a complete joke. The kid has no skill... Arum knows as soon as he gets inthere with a guy like Martinez or a real threat at 160 he'll get exposed... and he wouldn't have a prayer against anybody in the top 15 at 168. Hell, Allen Green would beat him handily
