Chavez Jr says he wasn't impress by Alvarez ko win over Baldimor.

Perhaps he'll be more impressed when he's flat on his face just like Baldomir.

 

Chavez Jr gets alot of hate on this website but I got mad respect for him because he's got some massive shoes to fill and its hard to stay focused, dedicated and try to make a name for yourself when you're born rich and basically can live off your father's name.

 

Alvarez KOs that bum.

His father is my favorite fighter of all time, but i seriously cant stand that kid.

 

jealousy, pure and simple. No way Jr. does to Baldomir what Canelo did. No one has done that ****. Im sure these two will meet at some point and I got Alvarez by 8th round KO and i rarely predict straight up KO's.

 

I'd like to see these two potential Mexican icons go at it, maybe next year?

you think jr is good, i think jr is ok better then what most ppl claim but to even suggests hed be competitive with alvarez is idiocy, jr is a solid fighter nothing more nothing less

 

I wasnt impressed with Alvarez either. I really dont see all the hype about him. He gets hit way too easily and is very unpolished. He is a decent fighter, but hes basically to par with someone like John Duddy imo. Baldomir was the slowest hes ever been, and he was still landing a lot of his punches. Alvarez backs straight up, which is going to cost him when he gets in with tougher opposition. He also looks lost in there at times. 5 years ago Baldomir would have beaten him.

 

Ancient proverb says if a man's father had a great achievement, the son must do twice as much to escape the shadow and gain any recognition for himself.

 

What impresses me most about Alvarez is his balance.. He can throw anything from of course a jab, to a combination, to a lead hook, and he seems to always have keep such good balance and distance.

 

Be a good fight, looks like Chavez wants to step it up

 

it's not like he's in his late 20s...there is hype because of what he has done considering his AGE. he barely turned 20 years old and look what he has done so far!!!!!!! His test was to beat baldomir, and he ACED his test...give the kid credit, and give him a few years...he's too young to be getting hate, especially when the kid isn't cocky like a certain other fighter out there. He is still young, will continue to improve, and will one day be a world champion

Alvarez looked good against baldomir.....it'll be a gud fight to watch with chavez jr, both get hit, and both like to trade.....looking forward to the fight....maybe JR can step out of his fathers shadow....

And by the way.....i watched the fight on youtube.....it was in mexican.....but damn....if the girl they keep showing at the end is Alvarez's girlfriend/wife....she is fcukin HOT!!!
