Chavez Jr says the Sergio Martinez was better then Alvarez..do or disagree?

Huh?!!! Sergio had crazy stamina. Hed bounce around in the 12th like it was the 1rst round. You problably got that from the Margarito fight where he got worn down and stopped. That was just his inexperienced. Something he learned from and became an elite fighter there after.

Martinez best is better than anything I've seen from Canelo so far.

Prime Maravilla was a notch above Canelo. The one that had those classics with a prime Pwilly would of gotten his revenge against Margarito in a rematch and was good enough to beat Mayweather. He had a suicidal style, but he had a good boxing brain to go with his style. Imo he was a Roy Jones type of fighter, once his reflexes were gone, so was his greatness.

 

Not Martinez of the Chavez fight.

 

Nor the Canelo of the Chavez fight. What we saw from Canelo yesterday was better than anything Martinez ever faced, and that includes Pavlik.

 

Sour grapes,not sure where he finds the cheek from coming out with that after that awful performance.
Martinez probably is the better man but after losing all twelve rounds in that manner he should just keep quiet is my opinion.

 

Martínez almost got KTFO and was eating leather from a lazy undisciplined Chavez who fought until the end.

Canelo fought a flawless fight against according to Chavez and his team the best shape Chavez ever, and Chavez went into full survival mode after round 2.

Its safe to say Canelo had the much better performance against Chavez.

Only a shameless Canelo nuthugger would say Canelo beats Sergio. Canelo started calling out Sergio at one point, until his people told him to shut the **** up. Canelo's handlers knew it was suicide.

 

I think the current version of Canelo would be able to walk Martinez down and stop him late. The version from the Trout fight might not.

That's a little different from saying who the better fighter is. They're on a similar level with different strengths and weaknesses.

 

A healthy Martinez is much better fighter...........
