A lazy, undisciplined Chavez almost KO Martinez.

A fit, trained by arguably the best MX trainer, and towered over Canelo Chavez looked like a club fighter.

That's very unsurprising to hear you say that. You're highly biased against Canelo.

This. Chavez Jr has really got mental problems, attacking Canelo now after getting embarrassed by him is not going to be any use. He should have attacked Canelo in the ring, not out of it.

I'd tend to favour Martinez myself, it was such a joy to watch him when he was healthy although I may be a bit biased there. But it would be a very interesting fight regardless, you can't write off Canelo's chances.

I thought El Pollo was the guy that was too chicken to fight Triple G. But now they're fighting.

Fact: El Pollo gave up his 160 lb. title rather that fight Golovkin, said he 160 was too heavyweight for him, then he fought Chavez at 164.5................that tells me something. El Pollo was waiting for Golovkin to age, slow down, so Golovkin looked just a little vulnerable against his last two opponents to get someone to fight him, yes, to make that fight. Oscar told Golovkin that he could not fight Saunders or the fight would be off, they wanted Golovkin to be inactive...........

Waiting for Triple G to age, or waiting until he actually fought someone at 160 first? Do you think it's right to have someone's first fight ever at 160 be vs Triple G?

I'm inclined to agree. Maybe Martinez when he fought Pavlik is better than Canelo, but not anything post Barker. Canelo would dispatch all those guys far easier than Martinez.

El Pollo had the 160 lb. title......................if you have the 160 lb. you have to fight your mandatory at 160 lb., that's just logical................

But he didn't win the title at 160. He won the title at 155. Remember Cotto was defending the title at catchweights.

You do if you are the supposed "lineal champion" as you claim repeatedly.

    Game set and match shadow.

The Lineal Championship doesn't require someone to fight at the weight limit of 160. It also doesn't require his opponent to fight at the weight limit of 160. A catchweight is an agreement between the fighters to not weigh above a certain weight. You seem to be confusing and tying being Lineal Champion to fighting at the weight limit. Those are two seperate things.

Sensible sports fans know false handicapping is a no-no to any claim of greatness. Win the lineal clear without conditions or don't be considered lineal - simple.
