    Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. Sparring Vanes Martirosyan from a year ago. Here is the link.

    Vanes works him. Chavez has more power, but he often seems off balance and he gets tagged alot. A few times Vanes just stops punching to let Chavez out. Could be a good preview of what is to come.

    Anyone know the ring size of the fight?? Post your thoughts.

    Jr is a very different fighter now plus I don't think we can compare Vanes to Maravilla. Ring size and physical size in Chavez WILL matter and determine the fight IMO.

    believe it or not golovkin handled him worse, the mexican press didn't what the footage released and kept it.

    Wrong sparring partner for both of them, specially Vanes. Lara and Junior are the opposite. Junior is stronger and easy to hit,Lara smaller,southpaw but faster and good defense.

    Jr going easy on vanes. In a real fight jr steam rolls him. Williams was swinging face first when Martinez caught him. He's not as big as jr and I don't ever recall seeing jr hurt.

    JR has also improved since.

    But it is frustrating to watch him block punches with his damn face. Martinez is probably the strongest and most versatile guy JR will have ever faced, that high guard defence has been shockingly exposed in the last 2 years (pac, linares, khan etc) it just doesnt usually work
