If Chavez gets beats by Martinez there is only a rematch left for him at MW, which will be Martinez. I kind of see a rematch happening if Chavez is to lose by UD (but IMO if it goes to the cards it won't matter because Chavez will get the nod by the corrupt judges assuming he loses in the eyes of the public a "legit" UD). If he gets KTFO (I don't see that happening) then a move up will serve him well.

If he gets past Martinez and moves up as he is claimming I can see Arum keeping Chavez away from Ward, Froch, Bute, or anyone that has a chance against him. The WBC will just strip someone of their belt give it to Chavez and until he is "ready" Arum will problaby put him against the best of the division.

    Can't wait for Sept 15!!!!!

If he gets a free robbery against Martinez then surely he has robberies ready for him at SMW. Hoping for Froch to murder him.

Not in El Paso where the scumbag and his bigger scumbag of a father have both his ass loaded with roids and gloves with concrete.

There is a lot of money at 168 pounds and the kid is hungrier than a a lion on vegetable diet. However let's not forget that Alex Ariza and Freddie did an excellent job bringing Junior to MW and still in shape to win that WBC Silver Championship. I am starting to believe that the kid has a chance against Martinez who had a bloody nose and struggled with Barker and was even on the scorecards against Matthew McKlin in the end stretch so these two last stretch KO wins to this late bloomer don't prove that he's a top pound4pounder. His wins at Jr Mw ( Cintron, PW, Dzinziruk) prove he's a top Jr Mw but the fight with Jr may go to close quarters and if the kid doesn't go to dreamland like McKlin and Barker late, he can work on Martinez whose defense is move out and it will look pretty bad Martinez running and tryin to steal the fight.

Say what you want but this has nothing to do with PR. Saying Jr will beat the 168 crop is a blasphemy. Maybe you guys got a little bit of jizz in your eyes

I doubt you really mean that. That's a lot of hate and anger for it to be an honest opinion.

no, not even close. he beat Alfredo Angulo in round one and lost to current interim MW belt holder Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam in round 2. Actually come to think of it N'Jikam vs Lee in the pros would be a good ass rematch!!

If he beats Martinez, his first fight at SMW would probably be Edison Miranda.....
