Its obvious what his managers are trying to do. they are trying to manufacture a record like his Daddys - he will soon be found out.

I dont take Chavezjrs matchmaking too seriosuly, in fact me and few fellas at work thinkg its funny, we look forward to seeing what bin man he will be fighting this month...

What do you think of Chavez Sr.'s early record then? Before he won a title?

Chavez Jr. doesn't have an amateur career. These fights are made to fill in for that lack of experience. In the meantime people are following him and his promoter is cashing in. What's wrong with this?

Don't buy it. I haven't bought any of them. It doesn't bother me. When he gets into the middle of the action I'll start paying attention.

Chavez Jr. has a padded record, but he also had no amateur career and is a C level fighter. What do you want him to do, fight someone a level higher than him right away? He's lucky to have his name and he's using the benefits of it like he's supposed to. It's not like he's a champion and is taking meaningless fights instead of facing top competition.

I always cheer for Chavez Jr., but I would be very surprised if he ever even made it into the top 5 of a division. He has a ton of flaws and hasn't shown much improvement lately.

No one is forcing you to buy them. While he may not be his father he is no bum either.

Mexicans love the last name but truthfully speaking the hype has yet to catch up with the reality

HOw many times do you need to be hit over the head with the fact that Jr. had virtually no amateur experience and is a late starter.

And who are these geniuses that "make him out to be somebody":huh

Here some perspective for you, Cotto is 27 and barely starting to convince the majority of boxing fans that he is the real deal.

Jr. has plenty of time to prove himself!:deal
