Cotto vs Chavez Jr sounds indeed like a logical option for Arum

Between COtto, Margarito and Martinez, Cotto is the most winnable fight!

I seriously doubt it. I'd even go as far as putting money on Jr.

Cotto has lost something since the Margarito fight!

Bob arum would never let Junior fight Martinez! The only way JCC Jr gets in the same ring with martinez is if he is a Guest Referee for one of Sergio's fights.

Not happening. Arum was already ****-talking Martinez as a non-entity and DiBella as a lazy promoter during the post-fight press conference.

BTW, Dwyer thinks Chavez's inside game and athleticism would give Martinez serious problems :lol:

Steve Kim tweeted that the WBC isn't going to force Chavez to fight Martinez, Rubio, or anyone else. Confirming the inevitable.

Martinez is not equipped to fight on the inside, Regardless of that Williams K.O. Sergio does not have true 1 punch power.

Whoever fights Jr. next will have to deal with the inside fighting. (Cotto, Martinez ect...)
I might lean towards Sergio pulling a 12rds decision over Jr. IF it happens soon.
But let's not forget Martinez is no spring chicken and has been banged out by pressure before.

no way arum would let this happen. i heard rubio won tonight and he's ranked #2 in wbc, and even that fight would be too much for chavez perhaps. this kid is going to be protected like obama at a klan meeting.
