How does he fair against those two the Pavlik fight can be very easy to make if he returns to 160.

Close one with Abraham, I edge Abraham due to experience with better opposition. . Pavlik beats him on points.

Loses to Pavlik. Very confident in that pick. If his chin proves to be shaky, he loses badly to Abraham, but if he can take the occasional big shot, he can pin Abraham against the ropes or maul him on the inside and take a decision. Abraham's perfect for his body punches also.

Wow, missed the fight tonight but based on the fact that most people give him a chance against both, it seems like his stock has gone up a bunch. Good to hear. Personally, I think AA takes him to school and him kelly pavlik would be like watching a mirror match, so not sure who would win that one.

The AA prediction more has to do with the basic style match up, AA is a power puncher and Chavez is a pressure fight. Bad combination generally.

Interestingly enough I actually think Chavez would make it an interesting fight with Martinez if they ever met cause I think he could make martinez fight off the ropes more then wear used to seeing.

I actually think he could beat Abraham..... as crazy as that might sound to most. I think higher of Jr as a fighter then most, and would pick him over abraham if they fought at middleweight.

I think Pavlik probably thrashes him....

While Im at it I might as well say that I think he gives Martinez all the trouble he wants and then some. Thats a competetive fight.

Pavlik beats him in a fight and a drinking contest. Not sure about Abe though

Chavez Jr is too big for AA. He'd out work him and take a wide UD.

Pavlik would be intresting and is a fight Bob should look at making, assuming Kelly stays focused and has 2-3 tuneups. I'd take the Pavlik I remember to beat Chavez be decision, but I'll not feel comftorble betting money on Kelly for the considerable future.

  12. Abraham would destroy him. Some people are guzzling down the HBO hype, as usual.:rofl:dead:barf

Chavez outworks Abraham. Muscles him around. Bothers him with body shots and gives another exciting fight.
Pavlik looks good on the mitts but i haven't seen him sparring or in the ring. Last time he looked horrible.

Chavez lying face down on the scorers table by round 6 with his father holding the ref back from counting him out.
