seems to make sense to me. jrs road to riches derailed when martinez lost. not sure whom they are thinking of for abrahams next defense. jr and he would seem to be a great fight on paper. both have great chins. both can bang. both are a bit limited in finesse. is there some reason this can't happen?

 Abraham will not take a risky fight unless it´s a mandatory. His career will be over soon and its all about the money at this stage.

chavez jr isn't all that risky. one of the most protected fighters of recent times. if they can't make it, i'd say it comes down to neither being willing to travel. personally, i wouldn't go to texas if i were abraham. nor would i go to germany as chavez jr.

It makes sense for both and I would actually like to see it...

Winnable fight for Chavez to get a title opportunity.

Winnable fight for Abraham to get a big cash out fight with big spotlight.

Styles favor Chavez in this one. But is the overall talent gap too wide for him to actually be able to pull it off?

PPL underestimating Abe here. He took a bad whooping in 2nd Stieglitz bout and did great in the trilogy. Id pay for this fight

doesn't abraham hold a title? i think it is winnable for either fighter. should be a good, toe to toe action fight, if made.

Abe by knockout. The fight shows Jr the difference between fighting a real middle weight and and blown up jr middle weight. Jr is not elusive exactly how Abe likes his opponent.
