Would we ever see this? Is this a fight boxing wants and needs?

    Never.

    - Top Rank vs. Golden Boy
    - Chavez too big, Canelo too small.

There's too much of a size difference. JCC Jr will be at super middleweight in the very near future whilst Canelo is probably going to be a Light Middleweight for the rest of his career.

Canelo has no future if he stays at 154....

Chavez Jr has no future if he moves to 168...

A fight between them at 160 is inevitable....the battle of the paper champs.

Man I still think it's unfair. I think Chavez is way to big and could outweigh him by 25+ pounds on the night.

He is 22 now. How his he going to stay at 154 for the rest of his career? He will have no choice in moving up to 168 eventually.

I feel like Alvarez is growing out his weight class, dude is only like 20 years old. Chavez would still out weigh him though.

I underestimated the size difference before I saw them standing together. Jr. is significantly larger.

    168?

Yeah, only if he's at the absolute end of his career, and he's too lazy/fat to remain in shape.

His height and frame will see him go no further than 160.

Julita is much bigger than Canelo, too much of a size disadvantage for Canelo

Canelo is the more skilled of the two, but Jr's size should make him the favorite.

He could easily move up two weight divisions in 10 years and he probably will.

Alvarez was 164 in the ring for Mosley, so he's probably walking around at 175 or so.

This. Chavez will soon outgrow 160 and I don't believe Canelo will ever go over 160lbs. Canelo will be a small 160 pounder.
