chavez jr vs canelo

I'd definitely watch this fight if it were to happen. It would be interesting to see who Mexico would pick as their favorite son. It would be honorary royalty (Nelo), versus real boxing royalty. Like others have said, I think Canelo has the overall better skills than Jr., but Jr. hits harder and has (probably) better whiskers.

Why is Chavez Jr too big? He rehydrates back to 185. Canelo was 172 against Trout in the ring. That's only 13 pound difference. It's OK for Canelo to pick on a smaller Mayweather but Canelo doesn't have the balls to fight guys larger than him? Canelo is the next Donaire.

 

^He is only 5'7". Chavez Jr is over 6 foot. It would look ridiculous.
