Hate to admit it but I'll watch any of JR's fights just because of his name. I miss his dad that much. I think Fonfara is in with a good shout here, he looked very crisp against Adonis in the second half of the fight. Doubt he can hurt Jr. but he may well be able to outbox him.
Being that the fight is in Carson California, Jr will be the home town favorite. Like I said, Fonfara will need a KO to get a decision (haha). But that's the truth. He'll really need to out box Jr by a great margine, or else Jr. gets the nod. And I don't think Fonfara's pencil neck will be a factor in the fight.
this is a good evening starter, topped by desert that is Matty-Provo i just hope Fonfara won't get jobbed by the judges, because he's not a worse fighter than Jr
At least Fonfara is ranked like number 4 in the WBC and a solid win would give him some credibility after being inactive for so long.
Yes, only HBO will be showing Matty vs Provo. And I will see the Fonfara fight. Just found out my mother-in-law has Showtime! :happy Oh yeah, Jr. is sounding confident about his 1st fight @ L. Hw. But I hope the opposite is true. That Jr. has never seen a fighter as good as Fonfara. :!: http://www.fightnews.com/Boxing/chavez-jr-fonfara-has-never-seen-an-opponent-like-me-286498
not sure which one I need to record because they probably overlap each other for sure. I am into jr more than either provo or matty so I guess i'll record that one and stay the f uck off this forum
