I'll be watching. I think Fonfara will come to fight but eventually get worn down and possibly stopped late.

Pretty much agree. As much as I don't like Jr., he is one tough SOB.

Hey Pimp...have any opinion yet as to what may happen May 2nd???

I got PBF by UD. Pac will start fast until PBF figures him out by round 4 then the fight will enter a boxing match and PBF will take over.

Exactly. The odds are against Pac that he'll get in that one "lucky" punch to swing it in his favor.

Another BORING PBF fight? Maybe. Depends on your perspective...

This has been my experience also. Even places that might show the odd PPV don't seem to have standard HBO/Showtime.

    Get a new wife!

Chavez should have taken a bum as a comeback opponent

he's been inactive for too long

and even when he was active he was one lazy **** at training

unless he has changed his ways dramatically, this fight could end bad for Jr

Very good fight, Chavez is taking on a tough opponent for his lightheavy debut(Vera weight fiasco aside).

I'd pick Chavez to win but its a pretty even match up. It's unfortunate for this fight to be going against the Mathysee-Provodnikov fight or it would be getting more buzz than it has.

Styles make fights (cliché but appropriate here), I think Chavez stylistically is a nightmare for Fonfara. Stevenson is a very one dimensional one handed fighter, and Fonfara was able to anticipate and adjust to his straight left. Whereas, Fonfara struggled quite often with Ngumbo crowding and pressuring him, and was KO'd, granted along time ago by right and left hooks to his head by Findley.

This match will not look entirely dissimilar to Lee-Chavez and will probably end the same way.

TKO7 for Jr. over Lee back in June of 2012. Damn, I hope not. Fonfara has the size advantage, which could help him...maybe?

    Jr. 6'-1 reach 73"

    Fonfara 6'-2 1/2" reach 76"

I still can't see a reach advantage for fonfara being able to keep Jr. at a distance. When Jr. wants to get in, he will. That's where the damage will be done. But then again, Jr's long lay off could effect his performance. Conditioning will be key...

Showtime better give their weights on fightnight.
