You can expect this fight to happen after Margarito beats Cotto. Arum has already said it and it would definately be a big money fight. Arum said it would be bigger than Chavez Jr. vs Martinez, and it probably will be but it's just another way of ducking Sergio. Arum seems to be pretty confident Margarito will win. Either he has some judges and other personnel up his sleeve or he really knows some boxing and believes Margarito will win due to styles. I say the former. He is a vile piece of ****. Id only support this fight if it was at 154.... which it probably wouldnt be because not sure if JR can make that weight. I love the idea of this fight, but really.... Margarito moving up another weightclass? His effectiveness comes from his size and pressure, taking guys best shots and wearing them down. What good comes from moving up to a weightclass that he shouldnt even be at in the first place? The fight loses almost all its luster to me if its not at 154.... Good matchup at 154 though.

I'm doubting we EVER see Chavez below 160. If it's at 160, Margo gets Koed. It's one thing to take punches against welters, but a bonafide 160lber with good power? Ko/tko
Margarito is definitely not a world class fighter anymore and I would pick jc jr to beat him pretty easily at this point. Margarito is not winning sat anyway so there is little reason to worry.
