    According to the Guillermo Brito, the operations director of Zanfer Promotions, Marco Antonio Barrera might be taking another tuneup fight prior to meeting WBC lightweight champion Humberto Soto. Brito says the fight being discussed right now would see Barrera fight David Diaz for a WBC International lightweight title on a date in September in Nuevo Vallarta, Tepic.
    Brito also said they are discussing several possibilities for the next fight for julio cesar chavez jr.....one name that have been mention is Ricardo MAYORGA..........THOUGHS!:deal

    Damn, Chavez Jr. and Mayorga. ****! That would be pretty good. Chavez Jr. might **** his pants at the press conference LMAO. If that happens Mayorga has a great shot at pulling off an upset.

    He had an entertaining press conference with Din Thomas leading up to their scheduled MMA bout a few months ago (Mayorga's debut).

    Don King intervened and sued the promotion, forcing the event to be canceled at the last minute, and AFAIK put them out of business, claiming he had full rights to Mayorga as a prizefighter whether it's boxing or any other sport and that this company was breaching his contact.

    Anyway, in the press conference, Mayorga was up to his old tricks - puffing a ciggy, blowing smoke in his oponent's face, calling him ***** etc. :yep He actually rattled the guy a bit and got him to unravel and throw some punches when El Matador laid a hand on his chest and gave him a little shove. It would have been a good fight. **** Don King.
