Chavez came to ring against Vera nearer 200 lb than 160 and STILL couldnt knock him down let alone out. Time he fought guys his own size there are plenty of fat slobs about. GGG would be woefully outweighed but I still think he'd kick Chavez ass :good

Not a good fight for Chavez Jr. GGG will bully him and most probably stop him after inflicting some serious damage.

Martinez totally embarassed Chavez for 11 1/2 rounds in that fight One lucky punch after Martinez gassed out & had a bum knee makes Chavez look like he had a chance. Chavez had Martinez gassed & on one good leg & still Martinez came back .
    Chavez was humiliated that night

You casuals kill me. Chavez Jr goes life and death in the 1st Vera
fight and then comes in the best shape in years and still struggles
against a crude slugging clubfighter who can't spell defense, but
you morons think he is the favorite against one of the best boxer-
punchers in the last 10+ years?
GGG Defintely, undisputedly and BRUTALLY stops Jr.
You boys are like puddy in the marketing geniuses hands. Jr
is a C level cheater and GGG will show it If, and that's a big
    IF the fight actually happens.

You seems upset people are excited about a potentially FOTY type fight its not like GGG has been fighting world beaters so to say he is the best boxer-puncher in the last decade is a bit of a stretch truth be told Chavez jr willl be the most accomplished name Golovkin has fought which is saying something I expect GGG to win but it should be a great scrap while it lasts.

Chavez is very easy to hit, he throws one punch at a time and is very easy to counter. Golovkin is a very skilled fighter with a good defense, chin, fantastic counter-puncher, and he punches much harder than Vera. Golovkin is a great body puncher as well.

All this speculation is irrelevant now. Chavez is no longer a middleweight. Since they no longer compete in the same weight class a fight between them is both unlikely and ridiculous.
