yup. martinez could call the bluff, beat him and earn more the next time. even floyd and pacquiao has to start at a lesser money when they fought gatti, barrera and oscar just to get where they are now.

If they fight, 70/30 is about right when you consider how many people will tune in to watch Chavez Jr. At least 70% will be watching because of Chavez Jr., not for the little known Martinez. Martinez even in conceding to 30%, would still have a record high pay day. Its not fair, but boxing never is. Martinez should take it. If Martinez wins, than he will be on the A side of the negotiations next time.

with all the excuses he is making not to fight martinez before, it is obvious, hes a fraud. he'll do whatever it takes not to face him

Martinez should call the bluff as others have said. He'll either expose Jr in the ring or Jr's team will make up some excuse to drop the fight.

Marquez doesn't need to accept **** against this fraud. What has this fraud done to demand this much?

He's shamelessly pricing his self out to continue fighting the same cabdrivers his fraud trash father did till he's probably 100-0.

Even if Martinez accepts Jr will find a way out.

martinez could say yes, beat him and earn more next time. that's only one option since it seems that he can't get a good opponent. he can negotiate and get more. i don't actually know how big a draw curently martinez is but he is a top p4p fighter so it does count for something.

Its possible that Chavez Jr. is pricing himself out too. Either way Martinez should handle his business against Macklin, and publicly except Jr's offer on TV. In doing so, he either exposes Jr. or gets a career high payday.
Regardless of the outcome, its a win win for Martinez.

Agree, Chavez could be "out of the money" contract wise after he loses to Sergio. That's why the big payday this time around.
