Do the boxers get more based on PPV revenue?

But there's a population of Filipino-American boxing fans that Pacquiao could be marketed to, a luxury that Martinez doesn't have. And let's be frank, the one thing that made Pacquiao a star more than anything else was the Oscar fight; it's pretty damn hard to become a star in boxing if there's not a bigger star that you can fight.

I hear people rip DiBella's promoting all the time, but I have no idea what specifically he could have done for Martinez, a guy who he didn't even start promoting until he was already in his mid-30s.

Martinez is already 37 years old, though. He'll gain some popularity with the fight but this isn't a casual fight. Only hardcore and Mexican fans will be watching this one.

  7. Floyd-Judah did 300K apparently, and this was before Floyd's stardom.

    This will do 500k+
