Ok brought up slowly i dont have a problem with that but while bringing him up he doesnt deserve to be champion, and very protected one at that!!!

 

Funny, NO ONE said it did to begin with. :roll: You see, JCCjr is just a money machine right now. And that's ALL pretty much anyone sees him as. That and a lower ten contender @ MW. No one serious sees him as a MW Champ either, which is what ppisses off kids like you.

I had no problems w/ his pace, since he had no amateur career. I do have a problem with his being essentially handed a belt though. But as I said, no one but him and Probably TR see him as a champo in any form.

 

This is what I'm thinking.. I highly doubt he'd be a title holder, even if he managed to stay undefeated fighting somewhat better opposition. And after he lost, we'd probably see him in even more competitive matchups..

 

He's not a champion. Just a guy with a belt that has a large belt buckle. Martinez is the ONLY MW Champion as far as I know.

I don't call ANYONE with a belt a champ. If posters are going to act like they hate the ABC's and all their belt holders, then they (us all) need to stop talking about them like they are champions, or expecting them to act like champions. Because they aren't.

One of the few times I agree with you...Spot on.

I don't give all fighters who hold straps/titles a hard time for taking it slow (especially young fighters), I also don't give them credit as a champion...The champion is the one who fights and defends his title against the best available opposition, including #1 contenders.

Titles are more or less popularity contests for the most part.

It's like saying Oscar was a champion at 160, Pac an 8 division champ etc...
