sad true about boxing fans, promoters do this because they can and fans support them if not chavez wouldnt be champion and wouldnt be fighting this bums but since fans buy the hype arum can keep milking the fans for some money and chavez laughs all the way to the bank even though he's a C-level fighter he's making more money than a lot more talented fighters

    :hat

You should include Macklin in that seeing as he actually beat Sturm.

i guess manfredo was too big of a test for Chavez jr at this point in time. despite being a full fledged gatekeeper esque fighter. You ***gots who still support fighters like chavez jr and canelo should hang your heads in shame they are shitting all over the sport

The mexicant public is so desperate and pathetic that they will eat the hearns fight up, even though Hearns got ko'd by a non-puncher in his last fight. Ishida would be a good fight.

Rubio-Lemieux was suppose to be for mandatory but since Rubion won the WBC say it wasn't what they said! you can bet your house that if Lemieux would have won GYM would have make everything to get the fight done plus they have paid fee for the mandatory! I'ts sad that Rubio doesn't have a promotion team to back him up because he diserve this fight and would **** up Jr!

It's harsh on Rubio but he's hardly more deserving of the pay day than Martinez. But it doesn't matter, Chavez Jr will vacate rather than fight Sergio. If Arum is going to put him in against a serious fighter, he'll make sure he gets a big pay day out of Chavez's loss. Like fighting Canelo.

I understand but Martinez can have a big payday fighting anybody! For Rubio it's not the case! anyway Jr won't face any one who got a chance of Koing him! Because Zbik show us that nobody can win a decision over Chavez!

Well, it says over at B-scene that Hearns is out of the running. Ishida is about as good as I was hoping for, sad as that sounds.

It'll be interesting to see how long the WBC let Jr hold onto his title before stripping him for refusing to fight Martinez.

If he doesn't fight Martinez after his next fight, he will be stripped.

Considering he's fighting Manfredo in December and his possible Setpember fight is going to be in Mexico and might not have tv coverage I'm surprised he's even facing a guy on Ishida or Hearns' level. Both guys pose some danger and with a big money fight on HBO several months away I would have expected someone without a pulse. Atleast these guys have some chance.

So they say. Generally I treat everything that comes out of Jose Sulaiman's mouth as a lie. It's a formula that has served me well so far.

I wouldn't blame you  At least that is what they claim is the course of action.
