diuretics are chavez jrs best friend i have heard how potent these things actually are, my mate who was powerlifting was weighin in at 65 kg, he started his water cut 36 hrs before the weigh in at 71 kgs, he got down to 66.5 and struggled to get there through water loading epson salts baths etc etc, he thought he couldnt lose anymore water and was absolutely ****ed from what he done to himself, rang his training buddy who within 10 mins dropped him over a shot of something dont know name, mate done half the shot and within 30 mins he went straight to the toilet and he pissed for about 2 mins solid he said and his **** was so strong he said it nearly cracked his toilet bowl, right before the weigh in he took another **** of similar strenght and duration and weighed in at 63.5kgs so after 36 hrs of dehydration methods and killing himself to shed 4.5 kgs half a shot of this diuretic and he lost 3 kg in just over an hour, **** is potent as hell
That's a little harsh. Chavez Jr. is not great but the kid can rumble. People let their dislike of him and the situation with WBC to cloud their judgement of his fighting ability. The kid can fight folks and has shown a lot of improvements. He's not as bad as people make out. I think he'll give Martinez a good fight. I am in no way picking him to beat Martinez but I think if Roach could get him to work his jab a little bit more and put on good pressure fight he has a good chance. Chavez Jr. is very assertive and his punches are judge friendly. He gives the impression that he’s doing something. He also has a good chin. The kid does not shy away from contact and responds well to punishment. He is a privileged kid who has been the beneficiary of lots of favourable actions but that doesn’t mean he can’t fight. He also suffers from a comparative to his pops. No he is NOT as good as Senior obviously. But neither are 99% of the people who have ever put on boxing gloves. I think his chances against Martinez have gotten better each fight. Right now I say the fight is 60/40 in favour of Martinez but this is not as laughable as it once was. Top Rank pretty much ducked Martinez until this kid matured enough to not embarrass himself. It wasn’t right or fair but it sure has worked out for Chavez Jr. What gripes me most is what HBO have done to Martinez. They continued to mistreat a champion, for no sound reason. They mistreated Martinez to play favourites to Chavez. How the heck do you strip Martinez of a belt he never lost, turn down an opponent (Sebastian Zbik) that gets approved for Chavez, then strategically keep Chavez away from him. The crazy thing is HBO mistreated Martinez out in the open and it was sickening. You kinda expect it from the WBC but not so much HBO.
He's blatantly on diuretics. Still, if he wants to risk his long term health by losing and gaining so much weight in such a short space of time, **** him.
